Giveaway T&Cs:
The giveaway is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over, except employees of Telford House, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the giveaway.
The giveaway is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
The giveaway will operate across one social media platform, that being Instagram.
To enter the giveaway you must correctly follow the instructions as clearly stated on our giveaway social media post (e.g. like, follow, comment etc.). It is your responsibility to make sure you follow the correct instructions for each platform.
We do not encourage creating multiple user accounts on any one social media platform to enter the giveaway. Any person identified to have used multiple accounts to enter the giveaway multiple times, on any social media platform, will not have any of their entries considered and may be banned from future giveaways. We do not have to notify you if we are taking such action.
The opening date for entries is 6pm GMT on Friday 8th July 2022. The closing date of the giveaway is 6pm GMT on Thursday 28 July 2022. Entries received after this time will not be counted.
On the social media platform, all successful entries will be combined into a random draw performed by computer process, narrowing the selection down to two social media accounts. One winner will then be chosen by a further random draw performed by a computer process on Friday 29 July 2022 (unless our giveaway social media post is taken down beforehand by Instagram and/or Facebook, where a winner may instead be chosen earlier than this date in accordance with this condition and using the most recent record of successful entries as described in condition 9).
The winner will be notified by message on social media from the original Telford House account on Friday 29 July 2022 to claim their prize. If the winner does not respond within 48 hours of being notified, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and Telford House will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process as described in condition 7.
In an effort to avoid potential disappointment, all successful entries will be recorded every 8 hours to allow us to retain copies of successful entries and still choose a winner (in accordance with condition 7) in the unlikely event that our giveaway social media posts were to be removed by Instagram before the closing date stated in condition 6.
Telford House accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault of any kind.
The winner will receive a two-night stay at Telford House. The winner will be able to choose an available two night stay in accordance with our current bookings. The stay must be carried out between September 2022 & December 2022. (Excluding December 21 – 31)
The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable and non-transferable.
The decision of Telford House regarding any aspect of the giveaway is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
Telford House will publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, Telford House will send the surname and county of the winner to anyone who emails info@telfordhouse.co.uk within one month after the closing date stated in condition 6. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and/or winning entry being published or made available, please contact info@telfordhouse.co.uk. In such circumstances, please be aware that Telford House must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request. Telford House has an intention to use a winner in post-event publicity, provided freely given consent from the winner is obtained.
Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. Telford House reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
Telford House reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
Personal data supplied to Telford House during the course of this promotion will only be processed to administer the giveaway. See also condition 17 with regard to the announcement of the winner.
The giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram.
The giveaway will be governed by English law and entrants to the giveaway must submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Should you agree to receive promotional emails, we may email you from time to time to promote a stay at Telford House, especially when discounts may be on offer. You are able to unsubscribe from these emails at any time.
